University of California Berkeley tabs StatMonitr for 2013-14

BERKELEY, CALIF. -- The University of California, Berkeley will use the StatMonitr media stats system for its athletic events in 2013-14, StatBroadcast announced today.

The University of California, Berkeley, known as Cal, is a public university located in Berkeley, California. Recognized as a Public Ivy school, Cal is the flagship of the University of Cal System, was founded in 1868 and has an enrollment of more than 35,000. The Cal Golden Bears are members of the Pac-12 Conference of NCAA Division I FBS and compete in 27 NCAA sports. Cal athletics have notched 34 NCAA team national championships, including two in baseball and one in men's basketball; the Bears also claim five national titles in football.

Cal is the eighth member of the Pac-12 to partner with StatBroadcast.
