Great American Conference selects StatBroadcast for 2012 Baseball and Softball Championships

RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. -- The Great American Conference and StatBroadcast have agreed to terms to use StatBroadcast Live and StatMonitr at the 2012 Great American Conference Baseball and Softball Championships.

The Great American Conference Baseball Championships takes place from May 4 - 7, 2012 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma. The tournament is a six-team, double elimination format. The Softball Championships take place from April 26 - 28, 2012 in Bentonville, Arkansas and will feature eight teams in a double elimination format.

The Great American Conference became the 23rd conference in NCAA Division II in March 2011. Based in Russellville, Arkansas, the GAC sponsors 13 sports, including football. The GAC began play with nine schools in 2011 -- Arkansas Tech University, University of Arkansas at Monticello, East Central University, Harding University, Henderson State University, Ouachita Baptist University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Southern Arkansas University and Southwest Oklahoma State University -- and expanded its membership by two in 2012, as Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southern Nazarene University begin their transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II.
